This project was created by myself to explore iconic signature shoes and recreate/update them. In this particular series, I focused on the NIKE KD 2. There were two components that I kept as design elements: the clean upper and the ribbed exterior heel counter but accentuate it more. One silhouette I've always loved was the NIKE Zoom Ultraflight, so I bridged that iconic TPU Support Shell and applied it to the heel to give more aggressive sculpting.
