An artistic collaboration between Gaucho Ninja manufacturer of healthy, luxury Barefoot shoes and five artists. The artists painted directly onto leather hide with special paint and Lisandro created a unique one-off pair of Barefoot shoes from each artwork. Each pair of shoes an exquisite work of art created from a work of art. Lisandro crafted the shoes and each component to capture the essence of the artist and their work. Combining art, fashion and style the shoes were exhibited in an art gallery in Hay on Wye, UK. Each pair a chance to own a pair of barefoot shoes and a work of art in one.

Barefoot shoes made in England

I am a self taught shoe maker and martial artist. My Argentinean great granfather was a saddler and a 'Gaucho' (Argentinean cowboy). One of his daughters (my great antie) was a shoe maker in Buenos Aires. Then my father did leatherwork whilst studying Fine Arts.
In my 20's I started travelling and started doing leatherwork. Later on I discover this connection that my ancesters had with this material. My passion to Ninjutsu Martial Arts took me to tabi making. From the experience of wearing leather tabi I started making shoes that could mimic the same feel
