I am not sure if there is "sustainable" mass consumption when our earth has only limited resources and everything we make and ship releases more Co2 into the atmosphere. Maybe if our products were easier to assemble and dis-assemble it would not only reduce Co2 output, but prepare them for recycling and repurposing when our chemistry and infrastructure eventually catch up. In the mean time just replace that sole and wear them another year!⚡️
