"Sekuci" is the final design concept for the KUREKA shoe design collection. Focus on the heel design, the heel were made from epoxy was inspired by Bangau, a piece of board shaped like a hanger to redefine preservation Malaysian heritage and cultural. The shape and theme of a bangau on a fishing boat have a specific meaning to both boat owners and fishermen. The function of the boat is not only as a vehicle for catching fish but also as a symbol of connection between the sea and the life of the community to get a lot of catch.
Bio Arish Farhans is a Malaysian artist and designer. He was born in 2003 in Terengganu, Malaysia. He demonstrated an interest in art objects from a young age. He futher studies in Diploma and also Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design at Centre of Design Studies (CODES).
