-Clog like a Dog- idea and inspiration came from love for dogs /running in a sunny day and all hair in the air/.
For this project I used only Estonian leather from South-Estonian goat farm. My master thesis and research is about Estonian Leather to get used again by designers. Inspired by our history, sustainable living and design for Needs/Conscious consuming.
I painted part of it black by hand cause hard to find black leather from local industries. Used Clog wood sole leftovers, made my touch/polishing.No glue. Sustainable way in every step.
Just so comfortable and Fun to walk in them.
Bio I pursue to develop a new generation of concepts, materials and shoe making techniques, at the same time a new generation of ways of living, loving, relating, reconnecting, healing, and taking care of actions with meaning.
For this reason, I love to work with organic materials and leftovers that avoid environmental impact. Especially in slow movement creation, mindful approach to crafting.
