An exploration in using furniture materials and hardware as shoe design elements
Bio As an Art Director at Perry Ellis International, I’ve spent 22 years shaping the visual identity of golf brands like Callaway, PGA Tour, and Original Penguin. My journey began in Puerto Rico, fueled by 80s hip-hop, graffiti, and sneaker culture, leading to a BFA from Parsons School of Design. After decades in graphic design and art direction, my goal at the Global Footwear Awards is to pivot into industrial design. I want to translate my lifelong passion for sneakers into molding a physical, wearable shoe for the real world.
