This is the first pair of shoes I’ve ever made. I started the entire process with the idea in mind that this will be for my girlfriend Oui. The design is based on my understanding of her interests as well as some subconscious decisions led by my past experiences from leather crafting. I enjoyed the way the material worked in the three dimensional form. Variety of leather allowed me the explore their property and ability to work around the space and body.
