The design of the 'Kaki' sneaker, meaning foot in Bahasa Indonesia, is inspired by the muscular and skeletal structure of the foot itself. In a project where I was able to get my designs made in a factory, I wanted to reflect on the body part that allows us to walk and move throughout our lives. This shoe intentionally designed with dynamic curves and a suede and mesh upper is an ode to our bodies and movement.
Kabi is the name of the brand that focuses on unisex and women's accessories and aims to break the boundaries of fashion through innovation and unique style.
