Boot-19 is an experimental design project by using single-use facemask production waste as main materials developing a wearable boot.
Inspired by cold arctic explorations. Shaped like a boot meant to resist extreme conditions. Thick opulent sole is made out of heat melted facemasks, revealing its corroded look in this contrasting design. A forward-looking product that has already been worn by the elements.
Made to raise awareness on worldwide environmental pollution of facemasks, the infamous emblem of pandemic.
