Inspired by "Inferno", the first part of Dante Alighieri's epic 14th century poem: "The Divine Comedy". Inferno describes the recognition and rejection of sin. The mood and colors are inspired by Eugene Delacroix's "The Barque of Dante", a romantic painting filled with emotion and movement. The sense of movement in this shoe is achieved with the shape of the heel as well as the red strap which can wrap around the leg. The form of the heel resembles an angel but with sharp elements that represent horns.
