This shoe looks into industrial materials and processes through a child’s playful and unrestricted mind. Defying what we think is heavy and rigid and turning it into an illusion of organic and lightweight, these shoes look to bend our perceptions of construction materials by putting them in a new light. To achieve the look and feel of rebar I created a pattern and printed it on leather using a UV Flatbed Printer.
