Shadow Play draws inspiration from Wayang, the traditional Indonesian leather puppetry representing a key to Indonesian thought and reflecting the people's lives. Crafted from animal skin with identical paintings on both sides, the puppets use colors to signify characters, while their main rod and hand sticks are wooden.
Comprising six pairs, the collection intricately mirrors Wayang's shapes, faces, colors, materials, and construction and translating it in a modern and innovative footwear designs. Each pair embodies unique characters with distinctive details and characteristics.
