Inspired by the Korean “Talchum” (transl. mask dance) tradition, the ‘Tal-Chum’ collection reinterprets the storytelling of masks, costumes and movement through footwear. Crafted with hand-dyed Italian silk satin, leather and flat-back crystals, each pair embodies this art form.
The ‘Tal’ pumps evoke the expressive Hahoe masks, reflecting Korean facial features and class symbolism, while the ‘Chum’ sandals echo the dance's fluidity with curvaceous lines. Designed with double foam-padded insole boards and elasticated straps, they blend heritage, contemporary fashion and ergonomics.
