Overexposure examines villains’ magnetic allure through Nietzsche’s Apollonian (order, reason) and Dionysian (chaos, passion) spirits. Like an overexposed photo—even in shadow—we can always smile and shine.
I deconstructed and reassembled varied uppers on a single last , then translated that rupture into the sole’s extreme reconstruction—and capped it with an exaggerated, upturned toe for a clownish absurdity.I treated vegetable-tanned leather with rust and lemon water to mimic blood-splatter, then layered Apollo’s gold, Dionysus’s wine red, and villainous black to reinforce the chaotic theme.
