Opaque is a conceptual androgynous boot redefining bespoke footwear through experimental craftsmanship. Built from vegetable-tanned leather, the design manipulates material boundaries with molded flaps, turns, and a sculpted solebend to create a silhouette never before seen. The color black is reimagined through layered dye formulas, waxed roughout, and acrylic that sculpts depth, absorbs shadow, and shifts dimension with movement. Accented with fine silver detailing, Opaque transforms traditional leatherwork into an avant-garde statement of modern design.
Bio I approach footwear design from a modern perspective, open to all possibilities, constantly curious. Through the effective study of the foot and the exploration of material form and function, I explore the liminal gaps, seams, and blurred boundaries between industries, continuously innovating new fashion-forward footwear with increasingly functional qualities.
