Reliving the clog in a new modern context by transforming it from a simple work shoe to a contemporary fashion object.
The original masculine signals are placed in a feminine context with references to ballet and the Mary Jane ballerina.
The shoe is a hybrid between a donated factory sample Nike LeBron 19 XI and deadstock wooden sole.
The wooden clog is reshaped by hand, inspired by shape of the sneaker sole. The upper part is created by combing parts from the sneaker, deadstock leather, laces, and elastic.
The shoes merges traditional clog craftsmanship with modern sneaker aesthetics.

Bio
I am currently in my fourth semester of studying Fashion and Textiles at The Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen. During my exchange at the Estonian Academy of Arts, I have focused on accessory design with an emphasis on handmade footwear. My passion lies in exploring traditional craftsmanship, upcycling, and storytelling. I aim to create expressive, functional pieces that reflect cultural references, personal narratives, and a responsible approach to materials and production.
