A chunky mule with sporty roots and Bauhaus dreams. This conceptual mule merges Bauhaus geometry and colours with retro sportswear aesthetics through a humorous, sculptural lens. Inspired by 1970s running shoes, especially vintage Puma. The silhouette is reimagined as a bold, chunky slip on with primary colors and clean lines. The heel, upcycled from a donated leather boot and flipped upside down, subverts traditional construction. The design plays with contrasts, sporty vs. sculptural—offering satirical commentary on nostalgia, sustainability, and fashion norms.
Bio I am currently in my fourth semester of studying Fashion and Textiles at The Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen. During my exchange at the Estonian Academy of Arts, I have focused on accessory design with an emphasis on handmade footwear. My passion lies in exploring traditional craftsmanship, upcycling, and storytelling. I aim to create expressive, functional pieces that reflect cultural references, personal narratives, and a responsible approach to materials and production.
