Inspired by Ötzi the Iceman’s shoes, this project explores the intersection of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design in an age of ecological crisis. Each pair is handmade from discarded materials, combining folding techniques with digital planning and 3D printing. The process leaves physical and conceptual traces, echoing ancient survival tools while challenging modern norms of production, consumption, and material use. Design becomes a tool for resilience and reflection.
