Bio Deshawn Duarte is the founder and designer behind Duarte Lateef, an independent design practice exploring the intersection of footwear, fashion, architecture, and modular product systems. Design work is driven by sculptural silhouettes, exposed structural elements, unconventional construction and a belief that footwear can function as both an engineered object and a form of personal expression. Working from original hand-drawn concepts, Duarte develops forward-looking designs that challenge conventional footwear typologies while maintaining a distinct visual identity.
