Vertigo is a sneaker concept that combines technological elements to provide personalization and bring new experiences to the customers each season. With a unique post-apocalyptic design language. Vertigo's laces are able to change as the person wearing changes location/environment thanks to an app. It also follows a circular life, with the intended idea of using biodegradable materials and a simplified manufacturing process. Going beyond trends and sports performance, Vertigo's main priority is to bring meaning through experiences and pushing boundaries through originality.
Bio Sara, originally from Venezuela, transitioned from Mechanical Engineering to a BFA in Industrial Design at SCAD, where she developed a passion for footwear design. After a Pensole x New Balance masterclass, she joined Under Armour as a Footwear Design Rookie, working on innovative cleats. Now pursuing a Master's in Sports Product Design at the University of Oregon, she aims to revolutionize the sports industry with her designs. She dreams of creating change through design by targeting the diverse needs of athletes worldwide.
