The Annie design is a slip-on ankle boot with stiletto heel, inspired by the lotus flower. The lotus embodies elegance, beauty, resilience, and strength - just like the design. The heel even looks like the flower itself when closed. By using two colors, the contrast emphasizes the organically flowing lines around the foot creating an asymmetrical design - the inside and outside of the boot are different. Apart from aesthetics, the design style results in the use of many small pieces of leather stitched together, allowing to optimally use the leather, thus limiting waste as much as possible.
