The accessory design and fashion design industries are among the highest polluting industries worldwide. Angela's project is looking for a sustainable solution to reduce the epidemic of leather waste plaguing the industry as well as to eliminate the cost involved in disposing leather waste in landfills. The core of her work is focusing on upcycling leather waste to produce new seasonless one-of-a-kind designs to offer a sustainable path for the Accessory design industry. Her unique work methods combine digital and hand-crafted surface manipulations.
