BRAKEPOINT uses unwanted bike parts and turns them into editorial fashion footwear. The industrial parts were collected from a local bicycle repair shop who found the pieces no longer usable or safe for riding. This caused them to be thrown into a box and collecting dust in the back of their workshop. The reused parts on the boots include: a front derailleur, a brake and bike chain links. The process of repurposing these unwanted industrial bike pieces allows for a lot of experimentation and uniqueness in the final product.
