Sara Paiva

The Shoe Museum / Director

Sara Paiva has a degree in Art History from the University of Porto. After writing her Master’s thesis on Yves Saint Laurent, she teaches Fashion History. With over twelve years of experience in Museums of Fashion and Accessories in the Iberian Peninsula, in 2022 she assumes the direction of the Shoe Museum – Portugal. As a researcher, she participates in numerous projects, of which she highlights InovShoeCluster. The special place between Art and everyday life made her fall in love with fashion and design.
